Updates & New Photos

Lydia on the new playground at Grandma & Grandpa Becker's house.

Jack will be 8 weeks old this Thursday.  He has grown SO much in the last month.  He is getting to be a bit of a chunk! He has almost outgrown newborn clothes, they are getting pretty tight and sometimes come unsnapped at the bottom.  I think it's time to shop for some 0-3 month clothes.  He has been smiling for a few weeks now and he coos a lot after he eats, I just love it.  He does have quite a temper though, he lets you know ASAP if he does not like something, he is a screamer!  Yikes!

Most of you know we got quite a bit of damage from the recent hail storm.  The siding on our house and trim around the windows and front door will have to be replaces as well as the roof.  Our shed, BBQer, camper and car also got hail.  We are taking the car and camper to the adjuster this Thursday, I really hope that it all comes out okay for us.   The adjuster on the house came last week and assessed all the house damage.  We got a check in the mail 2 days later, and I was pretty surprised they got it all processed so fast.  It seems like these type of things just drag on forever.  Ryan has been making calls to get estimates on the siding and roof.  He wants to find one place that can do both so hopefully we can get it done faster and get a good deal.

This photo is a picture of her little animals this morning.  She had them all arranged on the cups and I thought it was too cute not to take a picture.

Lydia got her first bike last week.  We got her a pink radio flyer tricycle.  She loves it!  It's a bit of a stretch for her to be able to peddle all the way around, she needs to grow about a half inch more for it to be really comfortable for her but I bet she will get there before the end of the summer.  Mom & Dad Kennedy bought a yellow Strider bike and helmet for the grandkids on Saturday, Lydia is a bit leery about it but I am sure she will catch on with more practice.

She is really into her 24 piece puzzle right now.  It is a farm animal jigsaw puzzle for 3 and up.  She has really taken to it this week and puts it together and takes it apart about 10 times every day.  I just ordered her a few more 24 piece Melissa & Doug puzzles.  I hope she likes them just as much as her farm one.  It's such a great challenge for her.

Sean and Miranda came over for dinner on Sunday night and she had a blast with them.  She loves to talk about "Uncle Sean n' Randa".  :)  I think she said Uncle Sean about 100 times while they were here, she just loves calling people by there names.

We are still keeping at our diet, and it is going well.  I have lost 13lbs now, I'm not sure how much Ryan has lost but he said he losing.  I want to start my post natal workout program this week.  I'm hoping I can squeeze that in in the evenings after dinner when Ryan can watch the kids.  I have some DVDs I'm excited to try out.

There are a lot more photos uploaded on to our photo bucket account and also a video of Lydia putting together her favorite puzzle if you would like to check them out.    And of course... one last picture because we all have to be honest - I do see THIS cranky face QUITE a bit.  :)
