A New Video and Update

Lydia turned 18 months yesterday! She is growing and changing so much. She is starting to become a lot more outgoing and is "talking" a lot. She weighs 20.5 lbs and is 31 inches tall. She is starting to get used to the idea of the potty and even asks to sit on it every once in awhile. She has peed in it twice. She LOVES to climb everything. Her favorite cartoon is Sesame Street (especially Elmo and Cookie Monster) and she really loves the theme song to Thomas the Train. She always laughs and dances when it comes on.

She has twelve teeth. 8 front teeth and 4 molars. She is in 12 and 12-18 month clothes now. Her favorite foods are tacos, strawberries, grapes, honey dates, popcorn and macaroni and cheese. She loves singing songs and making animal sounds. Her favorite songs to sing right now are Itsy Bitsy Spider and Old MacDonald. She takes one nap a day now, it is almost always from 1pm to 3 or 4pm. Her bedtime is 9am and she sleeps until 7am. Her favorite toys right now are her stuffed teddy bears and stuffed elmo, her princess car, wheelie bug & books. She absolutely LOVES being outside.

On September 3rd the public library will be starting another season of "Toddler Time" it is every Thursday morning at 9:30am for 18month-3 year olds. I am looking forward to going and having her interact with children her age and maybe meet some little friends.

I uploaded 7 new videos onto our photobucket if you would like to check those out. I am attaching one of those to this post. It was taken today and it is of her telling me a story about Cookie Monster. When you ask her what Cookie Monster says she puts her fingers in her mouth and says yum yum like when he eats cookies. Here it is...be sure your volume is up load so you can her her jabbering.. Enjoy!

Oh my gosh! She is SO cute!! It is absolutely adorable how animated she got about her Cookie Monster story! You could tell from her expressions that this was SERIOUS business! ;)
